Global Aid Network (GAiN) Food Packing Event

GAiN Food Packing Event

What is a Food Packing Event?

We start with large 50-lb. bags of rice and 100-lb. bags of beans and process them into smaller heat-sealed bags for distribution to people affected by disaster, war, and poverty. In just two hours, 200 people can bag 40,000 meals!

What can I do?

We need volunteers! Sign up for a 2-hour work session and raise $50 to cover the setup, product, packaging materials, and shipping. How do you raise $50? Ask five of your coworkers, friends, and family to each give $10, do odd jobs to raise the $50, or just donate the $50.

Who can volunteer?

Families, groups, and individuals, ages 7–97, are all welcome to help. If you can follow directions, you can help!
