Christmas @ MABC

Traditions and memories, family and friend
Music and laughter and fun without end

For some, Christmas is a time of happy nostalgia, looking back at years gone by. We like to stop, sit by a fire, and remember shopping for gifts and decorating our homes. Grandparents swap stories, while grand-kids obsess over the latest must-have toy.

Alone without hope, without love or cheer
Coldness outside and in, only God is near

For others, Christmas memories are full of sadness and gloom. It could be a loved family member or friend who has since passed away. Or it might be dark memories of poverty, drunken yelling, abuse, or worse.

Whichever group describes you, we want you to know that our church family welcomes you. Jesus didn’t come only for the happy families or the sad ones. He offers a gift of love, hope, and purpose to everyone, and we want to extend those same gifts to you.
