Women’s Bible Study » Remember Me

Paul wrote to believers at the Corinthian church “For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed” (1 Cor. 5:7). Through the death of Jesus Christ, the all-sufficient, final Passover sacrifice was made. He is our Passover Lamb. But what does that really mean? Jesus is the Lamb of God, but how is He our Passover Lamb? Isn’t Passover for the Jews?

Remember Me is a Bible study which focuses on and uncovers deep meaning in the Passover of the Bible – both the physical Passover of the Jews in Egypt and the traditional feast given by God and celebrated annually for centuries by the Jewish people. By studying the message God gave through the first Passover Lamb, we come to comprehend more fully the amazing sacrifice given for us through the blood of the Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ. By learning about God’s instructions to the Isrealites concerning the everlasting ordinance of the Passover meal, we come to understand how it is a foreshadowing of our church ordinance, Communion. It is the same story; only now the final chapter has been completed. And God wants us to know and understand. And then He wants to ensure that we do not forget. Let’s be sure we are listening as God whispers in our ears, “Remember Me.”

Men’s Retreat » 3.15-16.19

What do men like Paul, Peter, Onesiphorus, Samson, and Joseph have in common?

All five provide examples of what it means to step out in faith that we today would do well to follow. None were perfect, but God used each of them in significant ways to do His work.

The question is: Are you willing to challenge yourself to grow into the same mold?

As Paul says in 1st Corinthians 11, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”

If you’re ready for another step of growth, we want you to join us Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, 2019.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • SUPPLIES: Please bring your Bible, pen, bedding, towels and toiletries, athletic attire (optional), and a snack and soft drink to share Friday night
  • FOOD: Three meals are provided — Friday dinner (5:30-6:15 PM), Saturday breakfast, and Saturday lunch.
  • TRAVEL: Anyone interested in carpooling should contact our church office in advance; otherwise everyone is responsible for their own travel.

Tickets are on sale until 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
