Dr. H. Wallace (Wally) Webster, Senior Pastor – Pastor Wally Webster began his ministry at Mount Airy Bible Church in July of 1986. He is a graduate of Washington Bible College (BA, 1976), Pensacola Christian College (MA, 1980), Capital Bible Seminary (M.Div., 1986), and Trinity Theological Seminary (D.Min., 1993). He has been an educator, coach, and Christian leader on high school and college levels. His wife, Vicky, is a graduate of Messiah College (BS, 1983) and taught school for many years before becoming a mom. She is currently the Administrator of Mount Airy Christian Academy. The Webster’s have four children.
Mr. Marvin Patrick, Associate Pastor – Pastor Marvin Patrick has been a member of Mount Airy Bible Church since 1986, serving as an elder since 1992. He is a graduate of Trinity College of the Bible (BA, 2004) and Southern Evangelical Seminary (MAR, 2009). Pastor Marvin also directs the music and regularly teaches Adult Christian Education classes. Before coming on staff, he was a Marine and worked as a software engineer. His wife, Debbie, is a graduate of Hood College (BA, 1983). She currently is the registrar and teaches at Mount Airy Christian Academy. The Patrick’s have two children and one grandchild.
Mr. Keith Surland, Associate Pastor – Pastor Keith Surland began his ministry at Mount Airy Bible Church in 2004. He is a graduate of Arlington Bible College (BA, 1989) and Capital Bible Seminary (M.Div., 2004). Pastor Keith is a Greek scholar and regularly teaches Adult Christian Education classes. Before coming on staff, he owned a furniture refinishing business. His wife, Cheri, is a graduate of Baptist Bible College (BS, 1984). She currently teaches at Mount Airy Christian Academy. The Surland’s have two children.
Mr. Carl Edwards, Youth Pastor – Pastor Carl Edwards was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College (BA, 2010). He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in leadership studies at Lancaster Bible College. Before joining the staff of MABC in January, 2012, he worked as an educator at NorthBay Adventure Camp. His wife, Mary, is also a graduate of Lancaster Bible College (BS, 2010) and is currently teaching at Mount Airy Christian Academy. The Edwards live in Mount Airy.
