Mount Airy Bible Church (MABC) aims to produce mature disciples and help church members and their children toward Christlikeness during difficult seasons. One of the ways we do this is through our free Biblical counseling ministry offered to members. 

What is Biblical Counseling? 

Biblical Counseling uses God’s Word to provide life transformation, spiritual growth, hope, and healing. The counselors are committed to a position in which Scripture provides the authoritative guide for what we believe, think, and act. Our counselors will seek to apply full Biblical truth relating to specific struggles in your life without basing answers in our own opinions or concepts of behavior.

We believe that the Bible deals with a full range of struggles and problems that are the direct cause of a sin-cursed world. This includes, but is not limited to, troubled family relationships, fear, alcohol and drug abuse, suffering, oppression, physical, mental, or emotional abuse, and broken marriages. Although this challenging time may be marked by intense grief, despair, or confusion, we have confidence that God’s Word can meet you right where you are to provide healing (2nd Timothy 3:16).

We believe that the Bible offers the only primary source of hope and freedom. Jesus Christ, who is fully God, entered humanity and took your place so that you could have abundant life with God. Our counselors would love to sit with you and listen so that they can point you toward the cross.
